Since 2002, Dave has been a promoter and matchmaker for nearly 60 fight nights in Atlanta. When Dave, at the age of 26, promoted his first show in June of 2002, he became the youngest fight promoter in Georgia. Two years later, Dave became the youngest fight promoter to ever host an ESPN2 show. For the past four-and-a-half years, Dave has been the matchmaker and co-promoter for Wild Bill’s Fight Night, the largest MMA event in Georgia with more than 3,000 attendees per show and the fights being televised locally on Comcast ON DEMAND. Dave has been featured in the AJC, LA Times, Fox5News, The Fight Network, Gwinnett Daily Post, Creative Loafing, fightnews.com and many others. In 2008 Dave started the TV show Inside Punch on Comcast Channel 1 On Demand with Jose Santiago, Kyle Maynard, and Cedric Boswell. In April of 2009, Dave promoted the Kyle Maynard fight in Auburn, AL which gained worldwide media attention as the first fight involving a quad-amputee. In 2010, Dave and his partners hosted the first MMA Awards Banquet for Georgia, which later grew into the Georgia Boxing & MMA Awards. In 2010, the team presented the Georgia’s first Combat Sports EXPO and started Georgia Fighters Magazine, a 10,000 distribution bi-monthly magazine. In his free time Dave organizes and performs in amateur stand-up comedy nights. Dave grew up in Roswell, Georgia and graduated from Auburn University in 1998.
